All is now set for the presentation of the 2023 appropriation bill to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
This follows the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council’s approval of the Draft Estimate for the state’s 2023 Appropriation bill presented before it by the Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Linus Nkan.
The Governor in Council, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, gave the approval recently during an expanded Executive Council meeting at Government House, Uyo.
Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Linus Nkan, said the approval was given after an extensive deliberation by members of the Executive Council.
Mr. Nkan affirmed the readiness of the State Executive Council to present the Draft Estimate to the State House of Assembly for ratification within the week.
