The Pastor and Founder of Pastor Udo Moses Evangelical Outreach, Pastor Udo Moses has appreciated widows for attending the widow’s prayer summit with the theme “Don’t Conclude There is Hope for You”.
Pastor Moses handed down the appreciation at the end of the widow’s prayer summit which was attended by over five hundred widows on Sunday 16th October,2022 at the church auditorium, 67 Liverpool Road, Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
The Pastor who emphasized on God’s visit towards Abraham and Sarai in their old age, pointed out how God fulfilled the promise made to them after 25years by giving them a child.
The cleric assured the widows that the future is better, adding that God is not a man that should lie and he will answer their prayers in due time.
The founder further urged the government to abolish traditions that temper on the right of widows and also pleaded with religious leaders and Christian organizations to support the widows.
While appreciating the wife of the State Governor Mrs. Martha Emmanuel, Commissioner for Women Affairs-Mrs Ini-Adiaha Akpan, Mrs. Helen Odungide Assam and Reverend Deborah from UK for their support for widows in the state, also announced a one day prayer summit for widows scheduled on Sunday 20th November,2022, and appealed to all widows to attend .
