A cleric in Akwa Ibom State Reverend Richard Peters has urged the people to prayerfully scrutinize whoever they want to vote for as governor in 2023 with a view to ensuring that the person was not a suspected cultist.Peters who is Special Assistant to Governor Emmanuel on Media , said Akwa Ibom people would never vote out of sentiment, but on conviction of the candidate’s competence and track records.The cleric lamented that some youths in the villages have been cajoled to join cultism for election purposes with juicy promises, saying that people should not support a candidate that would trash the efforts of governor Emmanuel in eliminating cultism in the state.He urged the people to look beyond micro zoning since  power has come back to Uyo Senatorial district, adding that any local government in the Senatorial district is eligible to produce a governor.
