Isaac Bristol, also known as PIDOM, is standing trial for alleged terrorism, money laundering, cybercrime amongst others.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja and presided over by Justice Emeka Nwite has rescheduled the hearing of the bail application of a whistleblower Isaac Bristol to September 17, 2024.

The knowing about the bail application was initially scheduled for now, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, yet was delayed.

The litigant, addressed by his legal counselor, Deji Adeyanju, had showed up in court and reported an appearance however the adjudicator didn’t hear the bail application as expected.

Isaac Bristol, otherwise called PIDOM, is being investigated for supposed psychological warfare, tax evasion, cybercrime and unlawfully getting to arranged archives. The advancement followed his capture on August 5, 2024, in his lodging in Waterways State.

Force spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi said he was arrested on allegations of “committing serious offences that undermine the integrity of government operations”.

The statement added that there were several allegations levelled against the suspect, including unlawful possession, leakages of classified documents, cyber-related offences, and others.

The police also alleged that journalist David Hundeyin and another individual identified as Michael Alade are accomplices of Bristol.
