Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has warned perpetrators who vandalized some facilities at Ikot Oku Ikono overhead bridge, commissioned by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, to desist forthwith or face the music.
Governor Emmanuel who gave the warning during a press parley with journalists at the banquet hall, Government House, Uyo as part of activities to mark the 35th anniversary of Akwa Ibom state, recalled that it is not only Ikot Oku Ikono overhead bridge that has suffered the fate, but others too.
The state chief executive also assured that all ongoing projects initiated by him will be completed before he leaves office in 2023.
Findings from our reporters indicate that vandals have tampered with some cables and light at the overhead bridge.
