As the 2023 governorship election draws near, the Akwa Ibom state commissioner for information and strategy, comrade Ini Ememobong has called on political gladiators to desist from actions capable of triggering violence and war.
Comrade Ememobong who was speaking recently in Uyo during the birthday celebration of February born staff of the ministry of information, urged the people to pray vehemently to God to avert violence and war in the land due to political gimmicks, and enthrone peace through the voting into power of a leader with peaceful mien.
The state information helmsman expressed the hope that God will intervene in the unfolding political scenario of Nigeria in order that the effect of the hardship occasioned by the cashless policy and fuel pump price hike can be cushioned.
