In a related development, the Akwa Ibom State Police command has killed one notorious kidnapper, Emediong Nse Etuk, also known as mopol, whose gang has been terrorizing Ukanafun, Etim Ekpo and Abak local government areas of the state.The Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Mac-Don who disclosed this in a statement to newsmen recently in Uyo, said the suspect was neutralized at their hideout in Ukanafun LGA, while attempting to scale a fence.Mac-Don further warned perpetrators of crimes to desist forthwith or leave the state as the command will spare no resources in ensuring that those involved were brought to book. The command also called on members of the public to be more vigilant and report suspected criminal elements to the command for necessary action.
