Former Senate Minority Leader and the immediate past Minister, Niger Delta Affairs Ministry, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated the Akwa Ibom State Government and the people of Akwa Ibom State on the 35th anniversary celebration of the creation of the state by the administration of the former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida.In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Jackson Udom, The former governor of Akwa Ibom State, noted that from the year the state was created 35 years ago, successive governments, which he had the privilege to head one, had put in their best to make the state what it is today.Senator Akpabio revealed that much progress has been made in the area of education, health, social and economic development, adding that the best is yet to come for the state and the country.
